absolutely delicous ! ! ! My husband loved it ! ! ! ! I did as some others suggested and bought the pre-sliced beef stir fry strips to make it a little quick. The ony other thing I did was sliced my k peppers into strips alternatively of chopping them. I would decidedly recommend adding the peppers when the smasher is about done though because they get truly mushy and if you like crisper peppers I would add them last. helpful ( 1873 )

Do n’t be fooled by the list. This is not a traditionally disposed Chinese Pepper Steak but it is very good however. In accession to seasoning the beef with garlic powderize, I added bolshevik pepper flakes and fresh minced garlic to the crock pot. besides, I suggest adding the green pepper during the last couple of hours of cooking therefore that they maintain a crisp texture ( I added mine at the get down and they were very bathetic ). finally, I added a tablespoon or so of cornstarch ( mix with cool water ) precisely before serving. This created a fantastic boom that was perfect over rice. helpful ( 1230 )

This recipe was DELICIOUS and sooooo easy to make ! My grocery store store had pre-sliced “ Beef For Stir-Fry ” on sale, so I substituted that for the sirloin and it turned out fantastic ( it besides saved alot of time and effort not having to slice the meat myself ) ! I followed the recipe precisely and it was done after about 6 hours on abject … the kernel was ace tender and about falling apart ! The sauce was a little bit thinner than I like, so I took another tablespoon of cornstarch and mix it in a little bowl with a little sting of the sauce, then dumped it rear into the crockpot and mixed it up real well. then I let it cook on gloomy for another 30 minutes and this thickened the sauce up absolutely ! I served it over steamed white rice and then served the leftovers the next day with mashed potatoes — both were YUMMY ! My conserve and I in truth loved this recipe and I ‘ll decidedly be making it again ! helpful ( 845 )

This was easy and delicious ! Will decidedly be a custodian in my recipe box. I added a copulate cloves of chop garlic and a few dashes or Worcestershire sauce. Like all the other reviews, the peppers were soft, but I love them that way. For crisp peppers, add at the end. helpful ( 276 )

Great recipe. dependable change from your distinctive crock toilet recipe with cream of anything soup. decidedly put the peppers in at the goal. I will double the sauce next clock. The entirely change I made was I did not add salt. 7/7/08-This is so fantastic I did triple the sauce this time-3 cans of tomatoes and triple bouillon/water concoction. I decreased the soy sauce to 7 TBSP. I did not add any salt. You need to make it. helpful

This is very similiar to a recipe I have been making for years that my kids dearly call Mommy Slop. As in “ what ‘s for dinner ? Mommy Slop ! ” I do n’t use cornstarch, and use brown sugar rather of white, besides I add more onion, soy sauce and worstershire sauce. then I cook and add the seasonings to taste. helpful ( 226 )

absolutely delectable ! My husband and I along with our 5 year old and 17 calendar month old LOVED it. very tasty over egg noodles and besides rice ! Will decidedly make it again. But my advice is : 1 ) Use bracing garlic alternatively of powder and 2 ) Do n’t put park peppers in until the last hour of fudge. helpful ( 223 )

This is part of my unconstipated fall/winter rotation. I find it is best to put the peppers in during the last hour of cook, so they are n’t dissintegrated. besides, I find that I need extra cornstarch at the end ( when I add the peppers ) to make the sauce blockheaded. helpful ( 182 )

i made this concluding yesterday and served it on garlic mashed potatoes good to try something different and it was delicious … the pepper steak was a piece besides salty for me so I think next time I will only use two tbsp of soy sauce or ommit the teaspon of salt, other than that I loved it helpful ( 166 )

The kernel was tender and good but overall, this was very piquant ! I would suggest leaving out the salt since the boullion provides adequate on its own. helpful ( 105 )
